How the Victorian era is meeting the needs of modern Crossrail travel

At Whitechapel Station, a mixture of old and new signalled some progress on the much-delayed Crossrail project.

The original facade dating back to 1876 has been restored leading to a new ticket hall.

The station's new Elizabeth Line platforms have also been handed over to London Underground.
