A barrister mistaken in court for a defendant has spoken about ongoing prejudice in the legal profession. Alexandra Wilson said she automatically felt she "wasn't like everyone else" and legal system had "a long way to go to" improve diversity.
Alexandra has been practicing as a barrister for two years and told Lucrezia Millarini there was also a "huge overrepresentation" of ethnic minorities in courtrooms as defendants.
