Clapton Community FC becomes proud new owner of London's oldest football ground, the Old Spotted Dog

When William Reginald Davies founded Clapton FC there were no cars on the road, no radios and no TV news. That was 140 years ago. The club has survived through world wars and pandemics and today London's oldest football ground is starting a new chapter. The members and supporters who own the club have finally been able to buy their ground - The Old Spotted Dog.
