Thanks Courteney! Thrilled superfan, 13, thanks Friends star Courteney Cox for special bar mitzvah gift
A thrilled teenage superfan thanked Friends star Courteney Cox after she sent a very special gift to help celebrate his bar mitzvah.
Naftali Arden, from Borehamwood, was gifted a foosball table from the Hollywood star, just like the one in Joey and Chandler's apartment. The delighted 13-year-old said he loved it and the gift was a "huge surprise".
Naftali has watched the entire series of Friends seven times and came face-to-face with Courteney Cox during a surprise video call on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
Because of lockdown Naftali had to cancel his original plan to throw a big Friends-themed party.
Instead he streamed the ceremony online which, according to the Rabbi, was the first ever virtual bar mitzvah.
Thousands of people across the world tuned in to watch the livestream and he was invited on The Late Late Show to talk about his big day.
Courteney Cox, who played Monica Geller in the US sitcom, also appeared, saying: "I was really touched by your story".
The special gift now has a very special place in Naftali's home in Hertfordshire and will help keep him occupied during lockdown.
