Hairdresser of the future? Bucks salon shows off 'Covid secure' safety procedures
A Buckinghamshire hair salon today showed off it’s ‘Covid secure’ procedures to keep staff and customers safe.
The government is said to be considering July 4th as a possible reopening date for hairdressers and barbers.
Managers at Gatsby & Miller in Amersham have devised a series of post-lockdown measures to bypass social distancing rules.
Customers booking an appointment will have to confirm they have no symptoms and advise of any recent travel. Stylists will wear plastic aprons, gloves, masks and visors.
Angled perspex screens above basins will allow staff to wash a customer’s hair.
Clients will be issued with individual packs of disposable PPE including towels, gowns, capes, masks and gloves.
