A&E doctor and Labour MP Rosena Allin-Khan tells PM to scale up country's coronavirus response
An MP has spoken of visiting her father in a care home during the coronavirus outbreak, telling the Commons: "I may have fed him for the very last time."
Labour's Rosena Allin-Khan, who is also an A&E doctor, revealed her personal experience as she called for Boris Johnson to scale up the country's response to deal with Covid-19.
The MP for Tooting warned her NHS colleagues are already stressed with the pressure they are facing and questioned the efforts to prepare personal protective equipment supplies before the virus spread in the UK.
Dr Allin-Khan has previously talked about her father in the Commons, detailing his dementia.
