London Eye transformed to celebrate 20 years

It was installed as a temporary tourist attraction, a giant ferris wheel on the Thames to mark the Millennium. After 20 years, the London Eye is still turning and it's hard to remember the city's skyline without it.

It is now the capital's most popular paid tourist attraction, a chance to get high above London and look back down at it.

One of the London Eye's iconic pods has been transformed into a mini pub, as the world-famous attraction celebrates its 20th anniversary.

Visitors heading to The King Vic will be able to sip on a pint of ale in a quintessentially British pub setting, while taking in views of the capital.

The immersive experience are just one of 19 experiences which the London Eye has created in partnership with Lastminute.com to mark the landmark's 20th birthday.
