Abandoned on a street hours after being born: Police appeal to find Baby Edward's mother
Police trying to find the mother of a baby boy abandoned when he was 12 hours old have released images of the newborn to try and find her.
Baby Edward was found in a grey babygrow and hat on Sandringham Road, Dalston - just off the busy Kingsland Road - on Saturday morning.
Following checks police said the baby probably wasn't born in a hospital.
He is being cared for at an east London hospital as police grow increasingly concerned for the welfare of his mother.
