Investigation begins into fire at north London tower block

Firefighters are looking into the cause of a fire at a tower block in north London.

Plumes of thick, black smoke billowed from the balcony of a sixth floor home in Woodberry Down near to Manor House tube station.

It happened at around six o'clock on Tuesday evening with people evacuated from the block.

Half of the home has been destroyed by the fire but thankfully, nobody was injured.
