Jack Shepherd is being held in the cells in the basement of a ten-storey police building in Tbilisi.

On Wednesday we saw him walk into the city's main police station a short distance away.

Since then he has met with his lawyer who says that his client has the utmost respect for the UK's legal system and for its people but he handed himself in because he wants to tell the truth and he says that's because he's innocent.
