Police appeal for help after man brandished knife at Stockwell station

Police are appealing for help after a man was seen with a knife at Stockwell Tube station on New Year's Eve.

CCTV images have been released of a man who brandished the knife at 12.26pm.

Officers were called to the station but the suspect had departed before they arrived.

Anyone with information about the incident or who recognises the man in the image is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference number 145 of 31/12/18.
