'Please hold on': Poorly timed London bus safety announcements ridiculed

Poorly timed bus safety announcements advising passengers to 'please hold on, the bus is about to move' have been ridiculed.

A technical error means passengers often hear the warning after the bus has begun moving.

Transport for London says the announcement is meant to improve safety for passengers, but hasn't managed to get the timing right.
