Crystal Palace midfielder Jason Puncheon is to stand trial after denying assaulting a nightclub doorman.
The Premier League star stands accused of assaulting a bouncer with a belt at Mishiko nightclub in Reigate, Surrey, on December 17.
Puncheon, 31, appeared at Guildford Magistrates' Court on Friday where he denied one charge of common assault.
He also pleaded not guilty to a second count of causing fear or provocation of violence.
