Slaven Bilic sacked as West Ham manager

Slaven Bilic has been sacked as West Ham manager with the club stuck in the relegation zone.

The Croat, 49, gave a heartfelt post-match interview following Saturday's 4-1 loss to Liverpool at the Olympic Stadium, admitting he was under pressure.

The Hammers dropped into the bottom three after the result.

Bilic's team had won only two of 11 Premier League matches so far this season as a two-week international break approaches.

Ex-Everton and Manchester United boss David Moyes has been touted as a potential successor.
