Police are investigating after footage emerged of a Spurs fan urinating in a cup and then hurling it at West Ham supporters inside Wembley Stadium.

The footage, which has been circulating on social media, was reportedly recorded during Spurs’ League cup tie against West Ham on Wednesday, which the home side lost 3-2.

In the footage, other fans can be heard to say “that’s enough” as the man urinates, before he throws the cup and its contents in the direction of the opposing fans.

Chants of “we hate West Ham” can then be heard.

The Metropolitan Police said it received complaints about the footage on Wednesday and Thursday.

Its officers in the Public Order Unit are investigating.

No arrests have been made.
