Man traveling 400 miles in hope of being reunited with missing wife at Hamleys toy shop
The husband of a woman who has been missing for two weeks is travelling 400 miles in the hope she will meet him at a London toy shop she may have visited.
Karen Brown – who has recently become a grandmother – boarded a bus from Glasgow to London at around 8.20am on Saturday 14 October.
There was a possible sighting of the 47-year-old at Hamleys in Regent Street three days later, and her husband Jock Brown hopes he will be reunited with her there.
Mr Brown, 48, and their daughter Chloe last saw her the night before she went missing, when she returned from work at Asda.
By the time he woke up the next morning, she was gone from their Clydebank home.
Mr Brown said his wife was a "bit of a worrier" but he could not explain her disappearance.
She is described as white, 5ft 6in and of medium build with collar-length brown hair.
When she was last seen, she was wearing a pink fleece top, white trainers and was carrying an Asda bag.
The woman seen on CCTV in London was wearing the same clothes, but was also wearing a burgundy padded jacket.
Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting reference number 3818 of October 14.
