Storm Brian: Yellow weather warning issued for London

A yellow weather warning has been issued by the Met Office for London and the South East as Storm Brian hits the UK.

The warning tells Londoners to expect strong winds until midnight tonight, with the possibility of power cuts and damage to trees.

Although London has not been hit as hard as other areas, National Rail are warning of disruption to trains as drivers are told to run services as lower speeds for safety. A full list of all services in and out of the capital that are affected can be found here.

The Met Office are not currently warning of any risk of flooding in or around the capital.
