Twelve-year-old Chikayzea Flanders has been told by his new secondary school that he has to cut off his dreadlocks.

But his family are Rastafarian and say that his locks are part of their culture and beliefs.

His mum Tuesday Flanders says that her son has been removed from classes and has been being taught in isolation.

He had been excited about starting his new secondary school but is now very upset.
