Tower Hamlets borough 'with poorest health in London'

Life expectancy for Londoners is now more than 80 years for men and 84 years for women.

London's mayor is aiming to reduce inequalities in the capital and improve the health of Londoners and helping them to live longer, healthier lives.

Tower Hamlets is the borough with the poorest health in London. Women there can expect to live for 30 years in ill health, compared to just under 12 years for men in Enfield.
