Google unveils ambitious Kings Cross super HQ, complete with running track and rooftop field

Google has unveiled plans for its new 11-story super headquarters at Kings Cross.

The original plans were scrapped after Google execs decided they were too boring.

The new design incorporates a running track, walking zone, rooftop field, swimming pool and is described as a 'groundscraper' because its hundreds of metres long.

The open plan design will accommodate 7,000 staff who'll be provided with free food and drink from its cafes.
