Second linked sex attack in Clapham within a week
Detectives in Clapham are trying to find a man who they believe sexually assaulted two women, and followed a third woman home.
Last night at around 11pm the man is believed to have followed a woman home after she got off a train at Clapham Junction station. He attacked her as she tried to enter a block of flats close to Falcon Road and then ran off after being disturbed by a neighbour.
On Thursday 11th May at around 4am, a woman in her 40s was sexually assaulted on Clapham Common North Side. Police believe it was the same man and that he had also followed her home from Clapham Junction Station.
Earlier that morning around 2.30am, a woman had called the police saying a man was following her down Battersea High Street. Detectives think this was again the same suspect.
Officers have released CCTV of the suspect walking down St John's Road, close to the scene of last week's attack.
Police are still searching for the man but say in the meantime they have increased the number of officers in the area and close to the station.
