JustGiving page set up to support Croydon victim
A JustGiving page set up to support Kurdish Iranian who was attacked in Croydon has reached over £8,000.
Five people, including two sets of siblings, have appeared in court charged with violent disorder following a suspected hate crime which left the 17-year-old fighting for his life.
Daryl Davis, 20, Danyelle Davis, 24, Barry Potts, 20, George Walder, 20, and Jack Walder, 24 - all from Croydon - have been charged with violent disorder.
George Walder is additionally charged with racially aggravated grievous bodily harm.
Potts and siblings Danyelle and Daryl Davis were released on conditional bail, while George Walder was remanded in custody and a decision over bail for his brother Jack will be made later on Monday.
All five defendants will appear at Croydon Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on May 1.
