Tube strike: TfL advise passengers to 'complete their journey' by 6pm

London's commuters have been advised to complete their journey by 6pm this evening as disruption is expected to continue beyond the 24-hour time frame.

I an email and tweet sent to passengers a senior boss for London Underground said;

Transport for London told ITV News, that extra staff had been drafted in to deal with today's strike. Those extra staff had been brought in from the late shift meaning fewer staff would be on shift as normal.

Most zone 1 stations will remain closed for the evening and are expected to open for the start of service tomorrow morning.
