US rapper 50 Cent awards top marks to London schoolteacher
American rapper 50 Cent has appeared to praise a London schoolteacher in who he said has "got some flow".
Video has gone viral of teacher Christian Foley, known as Just Muz or Muzzy Foley, rapping in lessons to pupils.
The video was shared by the American artist to more than 37 million people who like his page.
Foley who teaches at Cardinal Pole Catholic School in Hackney, is seen using his whiteboard marker as a mock microphone as he raps about English and Maths.
Mr Foley said he was shocked to see that a global rap star had seen his video.
He said: "My overwhelming feeling is surprise, what's 50 Cent doing with his ear on the youth poetry scene of east London? How did he stumble on this?"
He joked at the nature of the rapper's praise, and said he hoped it ultimately helps him help his pupils.
"I'm amused by the compliment, and its semi-patronising tone," he said.
"But yeah my main job is to help my students, and to focus on them, if 50's praise creates opportunities for me, and therefore them, mission accomplished, if not - then it was just a cool Tuesday, and back to work."
