'Killer clown' terrorises students with chainsaw at Brunel University

A 'killer clown' has been filmed chasing students around campus at Brunel University, holding what looks like a real chainsaw.

Students filmed and photographed the clown, who was wearing a red wig and a yellow jumpsuit, jumping out of bushes and brandishing the chainsaw at passers by.

The social media craze, which involves people dressing up as scary clowns to scare people in the street, has seen a huge upswing in recent weeks. Thames Valley Police said they were called to 14 separate incidents last weekend alone.

ITV News has approached Brunel University for comment.
