Two men and a teenage boy arrested by detectives over murder of a 31-year-old man in Poplar
Scotland Yard has confirmed that two men and a teenage boy have been arrested by detectives investigating the murder of a 31-year-old man in Poplar.
Two men aged 19, 29, and a 16-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of murder on September 23.
They were taken to separate east London police stations where they remain.
Officers say the man killed is Zdenek Makar, 31, a Czech national from Poplar.
Zdenek died after being in East India Dock Road shortly before midnight on Wednesday, September 21.
A post-mortem held on September 23 gave the cause of death as caused by a head injury.
Zdenek's next of kin have been informed.
Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating.
On September 21 police were called by the London Ambulance Service shortly before midnight to reports of an injured man close to All Saints DLR station by East India Dock Road.
Police arrived and Zdenek was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:22pm.
Police believe Zdenek was involved in an altercation with a group of males inside Perfect Fried Chicken in East India Dock Road. He was then followed down the street and attacked.
