A boy killed when a car being chased by police crashed has been described as "an incredible child".

Child actor Makayah McDermott, 10, was killed alongside his aunt Rosie Cooper on Wednesday in Penge, south east London.

Lisa Pitman of Virtue TaeKwon-Do, which gives classes to adults and children in the martial art, said:

Makayah's older twin sisters and an 11-year-old girl, believed to be Ms Cooper’s daughter, are all in hospital with multiple injuries after the horror crash.

Ms Cooper's neighbour Jackie Francis, from Beckenham, said she often saw her with her nieces and nephews.

A single red rose and a card addressed to "Rose's family" lay on Ms Cooper's doorstep.
