Man killed by a single punch was 'amazing person'
A man who died from a single punch during a night out texted his girlfriend just two hours before he was attacked telling her he loved her.
Oliver Dearlove, 30, was attacked in the early hours of Sunday in Blackheath, south east London.
He was airlifted to hospital but died less than 24 hours later.
A post-mortem has given the provisional cause of death as intracranial haemorrhage.
Mr Dearlove, of Eltham, south east London, had visited a bar in Montpelier Vale with his friends on the night of the attack.
When they left the bar, they turned into Tranquil Vale, where they waited for a pre-booked taxi.
Police have launched a murder investigation and say four women they wanted to trace - who had been seen talking to Oliver and his friends around the time of the attack - have now spoken to detectives.
Claire Wheatley, Mr Dearlove's girlfriend of nearly four years, told The Guardian they had talked about having a baby together.
Mr Dearlove's mother Joy Wright, speaking to The Guardian, described him as "just perfect".
Tributes have also come from comedian Rob Beckett, who described Mr Dearlove as "my best friend".
