Fire in block of flats in West London

120 firefighters were called out to tackle a fire at a block of flats in Shepherd's Bush.

The London Fire Brigade said 999 operators had received over 40 emergency calls about it. Crews from ten different fire stations were sent to the scene on Shepherds Court.

The fire was brought under control at 5:32 this afternoon. The cause is being investigated.
