A bizarre "road rage" incident involving a white van driver pushing a man along a busy road has been caught on camera.

Video footage shows a driver in a white van shunting a man along a road outside of New Cross Gate station on Thursday morning.

In the clip, the man can be heard shouting "go on, run me over", as he is forced forward forward against the van's bonnet whilst cars drive past him in the opposite direction.

The driver of the van, branded with the logo of company Crown Flooring, continues until the pedestrian eventually gives up and slides off the bonnet.

A spokesman for Crown Flooring said: "We thank you for bringing this video to our attention and this matter is undergoing an internal investigation at Crown Flooring.

"The directors and management personnel will ensure this is in line with our company policy and current legislation".
