Teacher quits job to become full-time Pokemon Go player
A teacher has quit her job to play Pokemon Go. Sophia Pedraza, 26, wants to cash in on the craze by collecting the virtual monsters before selling her accounts on eBay.
The auction site has accounts for sale ranging from £50 to several thousand depending on the characters and combat points on offer.
Sophia, from Barnet, north London, became obsessed with the game after downloading it two weeks ago and often plays for 18 hours-a-day.
Gamers who buy and sell accounts on eBay risk having accounts suspended as it breaks developer Niantic's terms of service which states they can't be sold for commercial gain.> But people haven't been put off and one bidding war reached a whopping £7,300 before it stopped while another claimed he had made £1,144.
