Row over 'hipster club' Dulwich Hamlet FC sponsorship
A row over Dulwich Hamlet FC sponsorship has broken out among fans of the non-league club, according to reports.
Fans of Dulwich Hamlet - "known for its large hipster fanbase" - have criticised the club’s decision to agree one-year commercial deal with property firm Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward.
Fan Robert Vaughan, 34, told the Evening Standard, the club has been “embarrassed” by the deal.
But Dulwich Hamlet's commercial boss says the sponsorship agreement is a great deal for the club.
The newspaper described the Isthmian League outfit as “London’s most hipster football club” - selling Peckham-brewed craft beer and bratwurst from pop-up food stalls.
