London voting to stay in EU, poll shows

A survey of Londoners shows the current thinking in the capital is to vote to stay in the European Union.

A poll by YouGov for the Evening Standard shows 57% of Londoners intend to vote to remain in the EU in the referendum on 23 June.

The survey shows that female Londoners are particularly pro-Europe with 61% voting to remain.

76% of 18-24 years old also vote to remain, compared to only 36% of over 65s.
