Audience to face searches and checks to stop secret recording at new Harry Potter play
Members of the audience at the new Harry Potter play are being told they must arrive an hour early to get through rigorous searches, in a move to stop secret recording.
Those with tickets for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, are to be banned from bringing items larger than a handbag into the Palace Theatre in Shaftsbury Avenue, the Telegraph reports.
There will also be searches in the interval to prevent leaks of the first new Potter material in the last decade.
