The shocking moment a cyclist was threatened by a driver with a metal baseball in a road rage clash - reported to be in north London - has been captured on a video posted online.

The footage is believed to show the cyclist on Avenue Road, St John’s Wood in London.

The cyclist is nearly hit by car as it turns into Queen's Grove when the cyclist shouts: “What the f*** are you playing at? You stupid f****** idiot”.

The angry driver stops the Volkswagen Polo and jumps out to grab a baseball bat from his boot.

A spokesman said the Met Police has been made aware of the video, but further details of the incident have not been reported.
