Air ambulance lands in Trafalgar Square after woman hit by bus
Hundreds of protesters were forced to disperse to allow an air ambulance to land in Trafalgar Square after a woman was hit by a bus.
The Medics Under Fire march, against the "attacks on hospitals, patients and healthcare workers in war zones", was disrupted by the emergency.
The woman in her 30s was hit at around 2.20pm in the Strand.
A single responder in a car, an incident response officer and an ambulance were also called to the scene.
She has been taken to hospital with a head injury as a priority, the London ambulance service said.
No arrests have been made.
