Police investigation after man falls from building site

A man who was left fighting for his life is now in a stable condition in hospital after falling from construction site in central London.

Police said officers are investigating after the man was injured at the building site, in the Victoria area, at around 4.10pm yesterday.

London’s Air Ambulance was called to the scene and the man was rushed to a major trauma centre.

Both the Met Police and the Health and Safety Executive are investigating.
