Man arrested after woman's jaw broken

A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH after a woman’s jaw was broken in east London.

The woman, in her 40s, was assaulted in Ardleigh Green Road, Hornchurch on 16 March.

She was taken to hospital after the attack and has since been discharged.

Police have bailed the man until May.
