Armed police called to house in south London

Armed police have been called to a house where a woman was alleging false imprisonment and assault.

Detectives were also told there was a firearm at the property in Croydon Road, Beckenham.

Armed officers attended the scene "as a precaution" at just after 10am, police said.

A firearm has not yet been found and no arrests have been made.

The investigation is continuing.
