Man murdered in pub fight named
Detectives have named a 29-year-old killed in a brawl at an east London pub as Edward Stokes.
He died in hospital after being stabbed along with three other men at Army Navy Public House in New Barn Street, Newham yesterday.
Police have told the man’s next of kin and a post-mortem is due to be held tomorrow at Poplar Cemetery.
Ten people - six women and four men - arrested by police investigating the murder have been bailed until April.
One of the men injured in the pub fight, an 18-year-old, has been discharged from hospital while two others, aged 19 and 37, remain in hospital.
