Man shouted 'kill all the Jews' at school bus driver

An Uber driver shouted he would "kill all the Jews" during a fit of road rage with an Orthodox Jewish man driving a Stamford Hill school bus.

Rashal Miah, 36, shouted anti-Semetic slurs at the driver in September 2014 in front of a bus full of children, Snaresbrook Crown Court heard.

After getting stuck in traffic, Miah got out of his Mercedes and remonstrated with the man before calling him a "Yehudi", meaning Jew in Hebrew, the Hackney Gazette reports.

Judge Murray Shanks described his language as "horrible" and ordered him to carry out 15 days of anger management sessions and 100 hours of community service.

He was also given a suspended sentence for 26 weeks for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear or provoke violence.

Two extra weeks were added to the sentenced for arriving late to court.

He has also been ordered to pay £900 costs and must pay an £80 surcharge.

A spokesman for Uber said they had now banned the driver from the service.
