The Elizabeth Line is the second underground railway in London to be named after a monarch.

The Victoria Line from Brixton to Walthamstow opened in 1968.

The Jubilee Line from Stanmore to Charing Cross was known as the Fleet Line but was renamed when it opened in 1979 in honour of the Queen's 1977 silver jubilee.
