Man beaten with own walking stick as thieves steal £4
A 55-year-old man was beaten with his own walking stick before thieves took his cigarettes, a lighter and all the money he had - £4.
The victim was approached by two men, described as black and having African accents, who demanded his money.
When he said he didn't have any the snatched his walking stick and hit him with it.
They then went through the man's cardigan pockets and took all his small change.
The attack happened on January 29 at 4pm on the Grahame Park Estate in Colindale.
The suspects, who were both wearing black hooded tops and black baseball caps, then ran off along Corner Mead Road.
