London Legacy Development Corporation [LLDC] confirmed the cost of converting the ArcelorMittal Orbit at the Olympic Park into a giant helter skelter will cost £3.5 million.

The 2,000-tonne steel sculpture in London's Olympic Park has been struggling financially, and lost £520,000 in its first year.
The tourist attraction re-opened in April 2014 following the park's post-games transformation.
