Tube strikes could be called off as union suspends action
The Tube strikes planed for the end of this month and the middle of next month have moved a step closer to being cancelled.
Unite, one of the unions proposing strike action over the night Tube plans, has agreed to continue negotiations.
The union represents 600 engineers and maintenance staff.
The three 24-hour walkouts are still due to go ahead by members of the drivers' union Aslef and the Rail, Maritime and Transport union.
Talks were held at the conciliation service Acas on Friday and are set to resume this week.
