Shoppers up by 10% as Londoners chase Boxing Day sales

The number of people shopping in central London on Boxing Day increased by almost 10% compared to last year.

The latest figures reveal a 9.2% rise - which is estimated to be around half a million people. Over the last three days it's believed shoppers have spent around £100 million in central London.
