Man charged with murder of young dad in City of London

A 23-year-old man who died after being repeatedly stabbed has been described as kind and helpful person by his former partner.

Kabba Kamara was stabbed in the early hours of Sunday morning in Leadenhall Street in the City of London.

He was studying at university and dreamed of creating a business which would benefit children.

Mr Kamara was taken to the Royal London Hospital but died the next day.

His former partner Kesha Mochia, with whom he has a three-year-old son, said Mr Kamara was everybody's favourite and would always help anyone in need.

Today Junior Olabisi Afolayan, 24, of Wandsworth Road, London was charged with his murder and will appear at City of London Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
