London dominates 50 most expensive streets in Britain

Victoria Road in Kensington, London, has been named as the most expensive street in the country, with the average property there costing more than £8 million.

Nestled close to Kensington Palace and the Royal Albert Hall, the average property in Victoria Road costs £8,006,000, according to research from Lloyds Bank.

Such is the pull of living in Kensington and Chelsea, with the glamorous lifestyle it offers attracting many overseas buyers, that it is home to 12 of the 20 most expensive streets in the country.
