Man charged with harassing suicide victim's father
A man who brought a private prosecution against a woman who had accused him of rape has been charged with harassing her father.
In a statement the Crown Prosecution Service says there is a realistic prospect of convicting Alexander Economou of harassment against David de Freitas.
Mr Economou, who is 36, spent thousands of pounds bringing a private prosecution against Miss de Freitas for allegedly making a false rape claim in 2012.
Eleanor de Freitas later killed herself.
Tonight her father said he was unable to comment.
Economou will appear in court on January 11th
