Witness appeal after 56-year-old motorcyclist dies

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 56-year-old motorcyclist died in south east London.

The man was taken to hospital after his bike was in a collision with a van.

He later died and his next of kin has been informed.

The crash happened just after 1pm on Saturday in Croydon Road at the junction with Thornsett Close, Penge.

A VW Transporter stopped at the scene. There have been no arrests.
